Technical information
The Hive Pendant takes its cue from the decorative glass lighting of the 1930s, reinterpreted in a compact, contemporary form. Layers of softly rounded pale orange and clear mottled art glass create its distinctive beehive silhouette, with ribbed surfaces that catch and refract the light beautifully. Antique brass detailing introduces a subtle period influence, while the overlapping tiers reveal shifting depths of colour and texture when illuminated. Expressive without feeling imposing, Hive makes a distinctive addition to hallways, reception rooms and living spaces, above dining tables or kitchen islands, or suspended beside a bed.

Height is adjustable at the point of installation (30-125cm).

Are the light bulbs included?
No these have to be bought separately, this allows you the opportunity to choose the colour temperature 2700k for a warm inviting feel, most people use this in the lounge or bedroom or 4000k for a more crisp white, most people use this in the kitchen or study but it's a personal preference. We have a range of highly efficient LED filament lamps, most are dimmable when using an LED compatible dimmer. Take a look at our LED Lamps for the full range.

Is the height of this ceiling light adjustable?
Yes this ceiling light is adjustable on installation

My room has low ceilings is this light suitable?
Yes this light fitting is adjustable on installation to a minimum height of 30cm and is generally suitable for ceiling heights of 2.4m or greater, but please check the measurements in your exact room before purchase, we recommend the light hangs no lower than the door frame.

I have an older house, there is no earth cable where I want to fit my light, can I use this light?
Yes this product is double insulated and is designed to be safe to use where there is no earth cable. It can still be used where an earth cable is present. Your electrician should ensure that earth continuity is maintained in the rest of the wiring loop.
