The Forest at Night: A sophisticated take on palm prints

Tropical prints have been a mainstay of the catwalk for the past few seasons, with fashion houses Gucci, Prada, Elie Saab and Marc Jacobs leading the trend, adorning everything from tee-shirts to ball gowns with verdant foliage and vibrant blooms. Big fashion movements almost inevitably find their way to interiors and this is no exception; cushions, curtains and ceramics currently host a riot of tropical colour.

With our Bamboo collection, we’ve taken this trend in a more sophisticated direction with a deep nocturnal palette. The large and small drum shades are inspired by the calm stillness of the forest at night, with a tangle of palm fronds across a deep black background. The tripod base on our table lamp and floor lamp takes the form of bamboo stems in a brass finish, which glints through the darkness for a feeling of luxury.
